Concert at the Music Shed: In the Face of Death. This program features works written in the final year of three composers’ lives and each reflects a different take on the impending end of life. There are flashes of mystery and brilliant light in the Debussy and Schubert works, whereas the Strauss provides a sense of calm and acceptance.
