DESCRIPTION:We’re sorry\, but this event has been cancelled. Please visit Cheryl Heller’s Saturday open studio instead. \nVisit the studio of Cheryl Heller\, who makes eight-foot-tall paintings of song birds. “Painting them so large is my way of screaming about their loss\,” she says. “I want to invert the scale of birds to humans\, in the hope that people won’t ignore them the way they walk down a city street without noticing the universe of wings and melodies just above their heads. If hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul\, where does hope live in the thing with feathers itself?” \n.
