While waiting for their turn\, participants can take part in activities like matching whale tails\, exploring real artifacts and learning how to protect the ocean through our Whale Safe Habits campaign.  \nThere are two timeslots to experience Nile\, with a sweet treat offered in between. Spaces for the hands-on lessons are limited. \nSessions start at 9:00 a.m.\, 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A special clinic on Spey casting starts at 11:00 a.m. both days. DESCRIPTION:Battell Chapel’s beautiful stained glass windows were designed by D. Maitland Armstrong and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Three large windows designed by Armstrong and made of opalescent glass fill the west end of the chapel. Tiffany’s five smaller windows face them from the east; they depict the four seasons\, with a brilliant sunrise at the center. \nBoth the chapel and the main church will be open for viewing between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday\, and a half-hour guided tour starts at 1:30 p.m. On Sunday\, viewing hours are between 12:00 and 2:00 and the tour starts at 1:00.

DESCRIPTION:This exhibition at the Norfolk Historical Society museum presents snippets of life in Norfolk in the years before\, during and after the Revolutionary War\, and the impact of that war on the town’s residents. Well before military engagement\, townsfolk gathered to respond to the British blockade of Boston harbor on June 1\, 1774. Norfolk took its first collective actions of support and preparation: to send relief to the inhabitants of Boston\, to levy a tax of one half penny on the pound to procure gunpowder and to establish a pesthouse for small pox.
