Art Show: Caryn King

Floral still life paintings by Caryn King will be on display at the Norfolk Library throughout WINter Weekend in Norfolk. King is a narrative painter who began her artistic career as a sculptor working with clay. As one might expect, texture is very important to her paintings, which range from realism to the layered brushwork and inventiveness of expressionism. King’s current subject matter is taken from the natural world: plants, flowers, trees and landscapes.
