Art Show: Jennifer Almquist

Jennifer Almquist has been a free-lance photographer for 44 years. She studied photography at New York University and filmmaking at the Sundance Film Institute. Former owner of the Almquist Gallery in New Preston, Jennifer was on the organizing committee for the 1995 Special Olympics World Games in New Haven where she photographed President and Mrs. Clinton, was arts administrator at the Hotchkiss School and recently was the official documentarian of the Plow to Plate Coalition. She recently showed her images of soup kitchens and food pantries, Hunger in Litchfield County, at the University of Connecticut.
