A special event designed to showcase the town’s many natural and cultural offerings.
This exhibit is a tribute to the therapeutic benefits Borkowski receives by spending time in nature and making art each day. All of the works in this show developed out of a daily ritual that included reading the poem “The Dream Cabinet,” by Ann Fisher-Wirth, drawing and painting in her garden, and experimenting with cyanotype imaging. An early obsession with medieval botanical manuscripts and years of studying and working as a calligrapher continue to inform her process. Ten percent of each sale will benefit Assist Ukraine. The opening reception is Saturday, August 6, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit is also open Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
