Beginning Tai Chi Class with Christopher Kiely

Tai chi chuan is a comprehensive holistic fitness system from old China that is firmly grounded in the classical Daoist principles of balance, flow and natural alignment. It integrates athletic, artistic and spiritual refinement all into one singular exercise affectionately known as “slowset.” Focusing entirely on the practice of the slowset and its associated exercises, this class aims to teach and explore the most fundamental aspects of tai chi practice and the internal cultivation tradition that informs it. People can either take the class for free if it is their first time or just observe.
