Opening Reception: Kathleen Borkowski

This exhibit is a tribute to the therapeutic benefits Borkowski receives by spending time in nature and making art each day. All of the works in this show developed out of a daily ritual that included reading the poem “The Dream Cabinet,” by Ann Fisher-Wirth, drawing and painting in her garden, and experimenting with cyanotype imaging. An early obsession with medieval botanical manuscripts and years of studying and working as a calligrapher continue to inform her process. Ten percent of each sale will benefit Assist Ukraine. WIN hours for the exhibition are Friday, August 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 6, from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
