Sun-Gazing at Dennis Hill

Head up to the pavilion at Dennis Hill State Park to see a display of antique and modern solar photographs and panels, and hear about eclipses, sunspots and geomagnetic storms. There will be an opportunity to use a solar telescope under the guidance of Aton Forest’s resident astronomer, Matthew Johnson.

Sorry, the sun-gazing is cancelled; it is too humid for the astronomer’s specialized equipment. If possible, he will come to Station Place/Robertson Plaza after noon.
