Connecticut-Asia Cultural Society: 5th Annual Cultural Festival

Come join the fun as the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Society celebrates its 5th Annual Cultural Festival. This year the Tai Chi Fan dance team will put on a demonstration and complimentary Asian food will be served.

In addition to many other activities for the family, the Society will also be showcasing its Dragon Boat cart racers, in which teams of from two to five people can compete. Guests can also participate in the juniper bonsai-making demonstration (complimentary juniper bonsai kit provided).

Tours of the Cultural Center displays (Buddhist, Confucian, Taoist, Christian and Inca cultures) will be available, and there will be a wellness seminar, calligraphy demonstrations and Tea Art ceremonies that guests can partake in throughout the day.

Traffic alert: Visitors please note that Mountain Road is blocked at its intersection with Westside Road for construction of a new bridge. To reach the Cultural Center, take Route 44 to Westside Road and turn south.
