Connecticut-Asia Cultural Society: 5th Annual Cultural Festival

Come join the fun as the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Society celebrates its 5th Annual Cultural Festival. This year the Tai Chi Fan dance team will put on a demonstration and complimentary Asian food will be served. The ancient instrument played by Confucius, Gu Qin, will be performed during lunch.

In addition to many activities for the family, the Society will also be showcasing its Dragon Boat cart racers, in which teams of from two to five people can compete. Guests can also participate in the juniper bonsai-making demonstration (complimentary juniper bonsai kit provided).

Tours of the Cultural Center displays (Buddhist, Confucian, Taoist, Christian and Inca cultures) will be available, and there will be a Wellness seminar, calligraphy demonstrations and many Tea Art ceremonies that guests can partake in throughout the day.
