Tours of Whitehouse

Take a guided tour of Whitehouse, formerly the home of Ellen Battell and Carl Stoeckel and now the home of the Yale Summer School of Music/Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. The Stoeckels built the Music Shed for concerts and Ellen’s will left her estate in trust for Yale’s use.

Tours start at the back door, on the campus side of the house. Tour groups are limited in size.

This event is part of the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival‘s summer open house, which also includes a concert for children at 1:30 and an ice cream social at 2:00, both at the Music Shed.
