Tours of Whitehouse

Take a guided tour of Whitehouse, formerly the home of Ellen Battell and Carl Stoeckel, who built the Music Shed in 1906. Ellen’s will left her estate in trust for Yale’s use and it is now the home of the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, a program of the Yale School of Music.

Tours start at the back door, on the campus side of the house. Tour groups are limited in size.

This event is part of the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival‘s summer open house, which also includes a concert for children at 1:30 p.m. and an ice cream social from 2:00 to 3:00, both at the Music Shed.
