Tree Scavenger Hunt

Did you know that the Norfolk Village Green is planted with a number of interesting native trees? Learn what they are and how to identify them by participating in a scavenger hunt created by Great Mountain Forest with the support of the Norfolk Conservation Commission.

Start at the Weekend in Norfolk information center, 2 Station Place (the Hub) by picking up a map of trees on the green, a list to identify, hints, and some historical background. Match the letters on the identification list with those labelling each tree species on the map. The trees themselves will be labeled, so head over to the Green to compare the clues you’ve been given with the real thing! Return to the Hub to check the answer key and see how well you did.
