Pick up a tour guide to Norfolk’s historic houses and walk around the village to see fine examples of Norfolk’s development over several eras, from Revolutionary days to the Gilded Age of architecture. Brochures are available at the Historical Society museum, the Norfolk Library and the Norfolk Hub.
Norfolk has miles of trails all over town, most of them maintained year-round by the Norfolk Land Trust and Great Mountain Forest. They are open for the public to enjoy, so come on out! Trail maps are linked from the organization names above. Cycling is permitted on the Great Mountain Forest trails.
Battell Chapel’s beautiful stained glass windows were designed by D. Maitland Armstrong and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Three large windows designed by Armstrong and made of opalescent glass fill the west end of the chapel. Tiffany’s five smaller windows face them from the east; they depict the four seasons, with a brilliant sunrise at the center. […]

Multimedia artist JanaLee Cherneski's work will be on display at the Norfolk Library. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, her native skies and ecologies have formed her way of relating to the world. Beings, be they plant, animal, or human, are invited into all her works as collaborators.
