Come enjoy listening to Michael Cobb. Based in Norfolk and in Brooklyn, N.Y., he sings; plays guitar, bass, harmonica, banjo and ukulele, and produces concerts. He describes his sound as eclectic Americana, but mixes in some Spanish songs in honor of his wife, Martiña. He plays regularly at Weekend in Norfolk.
A musical history of the Argentinian tango as it was developed by African, Spanish, Italian, French, Mexican and Eastern European immigrants, performed by pianist Natasha Ulyanovsky, flutist Gonzalo Cortez and mezzo soprano Monika Krajewska. Please register here for this free concert.
