Matthew Johnson and the Aton Forest ecological field station bring solar observation astronomy to Norfolk using a dedicated solar telescope. The scope observes the H-alpha wavelength, which can show sunspots, the surface’s activity and...most exciting...solar prominences cast off from the sun's surface into space.
