Solar Observation

Robertson Plaza Station Place, Norfolk

Matthew Johnson and the Aton Forest ecological field station bring solar observation astronomy to Norfolk using a dedicated solar telescope. The scope observes the H-alpha wavelength, which can show sunspots, the surface’s activity and...most exciting...solar prominences cast off from the sun's surface into space. Matthew will also have information about the International Dark Sky Association.
