Battell Chapel’s beautiful stained glass windows were designed by D. Maitland Armstrong and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Norfolk has miles of trails all over town, most of them maintained year-round by the Norfolk Land Trust and Great Mountain Forest. They are open for the public to enjoy on foot, snowshoes or skis, so put on something warm and come on out! Trail maps are linked from the organization names above.

Elias Olsen of Bench Rest Bakery will be at the Berkshire Country Store. He plans to be selling a few types of sourdough bread (wheat country loaf, cinnamon raisin, rosemary parmesan) and possibly baguettes and dinner rolls. This small home bakery makes artisanal sourdough bread and other naturally-leavened baked goods, including pastries.
