Bocce: Open Courts
Did you know that Norfolk has a real bocce court? It's behind the cafe at 10 Station Place and it's open all day for all three days of Weekend in Norfolk. Equipment is provided. On Sunday someone will be at the court from noon to 4:00 p.m. to do demos and organize mini games! Come learn or just play.

Take the three-day, six-peak Norfolk Land Trust hiking challenge: snap a selfie at the top of all six trails, then present the images to win a Land Trust "Icebox of Connecticut" t-shirt. Download the peaks map or pick it up at a WIN information center. The peaks are Dennis Hill Gazebo, Dennis Hill Pavilion, Haystack Mountain, Pine Mountain, East Summit Ridge and Beech Hill. Expert fisherman Doug McDevitt will demonstrate the art of casting and share many tips and tricks for successful fly fishing. The venue: Wood Creek Pond. Meet at the Husky Meadows Farm parking lot and head out into the woods with Rana as she guides you through our woodland, sharing her knowledge of both fungi and plants. Our woods contain a variety of mushrooms ranging from Reishi, Chanterelles, Chicken of the Woods, Maitake and more. Bring your family and their friends and come enjoy Family Fun Day on the Botelle School soccer field.
