The Norfolk Farmers Market celebrates Weekend in Norfolk with live music by Andy Styles, fresh local foods and artisan wares. Special events include Tracy Hayhurst of Husky Meadows Farm cooking with foods from market vendors.

Sample foods made with fresh ingredients from local farms and the Manor House Inn's own eggs inside a Victorian Tudor mansion designed by Ehrick Rossiter. Outdoors on the lawn, play a game of corn hole while you enjoy music performed by Tim Hitchcock and Jude Mead. Beer from Norbrook Farm Brewery will be available for purchase.

Celebrate the summer at a family fun night hosted by the Botelle Parent/Teachers Organization and the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance on the Botelle School field. There will be bounce houses, a DJ, field games and an outdoor movie at dusk, covered by an admission fee of $5/person or $20/family. The organizers will be selling grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and other snacks and drinks, as well as t-shirts that can be tie-dyed on the spot. Norbrook Brewery will be there, too.

The Mountain View Green Retreat will offer complimentary baked goods, specialty coffees, teas and food selections. Guests may also try out holistic healing methods for pain management and healing, including Bio-Magnet therapy and Reiki. The Retreat plans to open a bakery, coffee and tea shop, and restaurant.

The Berkshire Country Store presents its second annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, with all proceeds to benefit the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance. Spaghetti Dinner and Game Night
Earlybird special! Botelle School's 6th grade class is going to run its annual spaghetti dinner and game night fundraiser on Winter WIN Weekend eve: Friday, February 21. The event raises money to support a class trip to Nature’s Classroom in Wakefield, R.I., on the shores of Wordens Pond. During their five-day stay, the class will have the opportunity to explore forest, pond and ocean ecosystems and learn about human impact on the environment. The Norfolk Farmers Market will hold a special Saturday market in the Hall of Flags at Botelle School. Many new vendors will be on hand along with some of your favorites from the summer. Sorry, Great Mountain Forest did not get enough sap to boil...this event is cancelled. However, forester Russell Russ says, "we hope to make our first sap collection sometime in the coming few days.
